Kline's shame won't go away

Kansas Gov., Democratic Lawmakers Criticize State AG's Investigation Involving Medical Records of Women Who Had Abortions:
Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D) and 14 female Democratic state representatives on Friday criticized state Attorney General Phill Kline (R) for his attempts to access the medical records of women and girls who have had late-term abortions
I'm not sure whether men were invited or whether this was intended as a women's event. Kline overstepped, and is burned for national office. He'll be popular in a Roy Moore way, rather than a Sam Brownback/Rick Santorum way. The latter would work for Kansas, the former won't play anywhere.

I imagine there are Republicans looking for a way to replace him. Go for it. A moderate Republican will get a lot of support across the line. If they leave him to do what he wants, a Democrat will beat him for AG, and the Governor's race will be smooth sailing for Sebelius.

Not that I'd mind.
