Not my Bible

News from Agape Press quotes Answers in Genesis front man Ken Ham saying:
"we've captured dinosaurs and taken them back and given them their rightful place in history alongside of man, as the Bible would tell us."

My bible doesn't say anything about dinosaurs. Maybe this is the problem, creationists are reading an entirely different Bible.

Just as Thomas Jefferson edited the Bible to remove all the miracles, maybe the creationists just clarified some points.

"6000 years ago, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.

And God said let there be light. And let its speed change so that the universe shall seem very old. And God saw that the light was good and confusing; and God separated the light from the darkness.

And God said "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear. And let there be things that look like fossils in it, that people may get confused." And it was so. …

And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: cattle and creeping things and dinosaurs and beasts of the earth according to their kinds and things that look like transitional forms." And it was so. …

[Genesis 2:5-7 omitted]…

And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Except for this list of species which will go extinct and be instantly fossilized."
