Human evolution

Anyone who couldn't answer Pedro Irigonegaray's simple question "Do you believe in common descent of humans from pre-hominids?" should spend some time with DarkSyd's series at Unscrewing the Inscrutable.

Walk in the footsteps of the first hominids, then check out Lucy and the austrolopithecines. What came next? That's where there've been a lot of new discoveries, so be sure to read about the Rise of the Killer Mutants.

My sources tell me there's more to come.

When TfK gets some free time, maybe we'll take on Irigonegaray's other question, about common descent of all life. But cataloging that is a life's work.

Satisfying, though.
