Off the deep end

Billy D. compares himself to John Bolton, Imagining being nominated to study ID at the NSF:
Imagine this scenario, but with me instead of Bolton going not to the UN but to the NSF to head a new initiative on ID with lots and lots of tax dollars to back it up. Could this happen? Who would be choking back tears?

Perhaps it would be Billy himself crying, and not tears of joy either.

Massimo Pigliucci, of Stony Brook University, recounts:

I once debated ID proponent William Dembski at the NY Academy of Science, and pointedly asked him what he would do if he got a grant from the National Science Foundation. He couldn't come up with anything..."
