Why didn't Pat Roberts co-sponsor the Senate's apology for blocking lynching legislation?

Maybe we should call and ask his office.

He joins such notables as Trent Lott in his silence on the matter.

Update: Roberts signed on yesterday. The Senators known to have avoided signing on are:

  • Shelby (R-AL)
  • Alexander (R-TN)
  • Cornyn (R-TX)
  • Hutchison (R-TX)
  • Cochran (R-MS)
  • Lott (R-MS)
