'Round the Table is senescent, but I want to turn some space over to the readers. What's news?

Kos visited Montana, was suitably impressed, and was told by a retired DoD scientist:

The Democrats make me ashamed to be an American.

The Republicans make me ashamed to be a human being.

I don't know quite what that means, but I agree with the second part.
