Who doesn't love Carnivals?

Tomorrow, TfK's friend at Red State Rabble will host the Skeptics' Circle, so get your submissions to him.

Tony Galucci has created not one but three new Carnivals of blog posts. These are self-nominated (usually) deals collecting some of the best writing on their selected range of topics.

The first ever Blogarithmicly is up, hosting the best blog posts listing links. It's a neat idea, because it'll collect the ideas that were floating around during each month. Years from now, people will look back and learn interesting things about what was happening during a given month, and this will be a neat resource. Keep an eye out for the best link posts and send in your submissions by the end of September.

Next is one I'm very excited about, Carnival of the Spineless. No, not a blog about Congressional Republicans, blindly following their masters 'round and 'round. It's a blog about invertebrates, especially insects. It's a monthly carnival, submissions are due by September 28, though I bet it'll turn into a weekly thing with time and popularity.

Finally, the Nature Writers of Texas will be posting their favorite selections. Think of it as a blog carnival that includes the print media. It's not clear if non-Texans can send submissions, though I'm sure they don't want to be swamped with every piece of science or nature writing ever. Fun to read if nothing else.
