When good PR goes bad
Thirty-five percent (35%) of Americans now say that President Bush has done a good or excellent job responding to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. That’s down from 39% before his speech from New Orleans. This is, of course, outside the margin of error for each stat. Oops! Sounds like turning No Man's Land into an experiment in conservative economic "theory" didn't sell. Or maybe it was the little disappearing trick he pulled with the lights.
The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 41% give the President poor marks for handling the crisis, that’s up from 37% before the speech.
Is this a case of Intelligent Falling?
