Board of Education: Best argument against ID

Last time Kansas advocated creationist standards, the nation mocked Kansas and Kansans. If the Board expected anything less this time, they are genuinely stupid.

Assuming they aren't that stupid, how did they think that the end result of this would be different than it was last time? The Board will get voted out, the good standards will be approved. That's what happened in 2000 (not generally a good year for moderates).

Alcoholics Anonymous classifies insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. By this definition, the Board is nuts.
