Pat Roberts

On Meet the Press, Pat Roberts got asked a number of fairly softball questions about the domestic spying. He never really answered many of them, rambled off into monologues that lacked an internal narrative and relevance to the issues at hand. At one point he pulled out a bottle of pills and said he was taking "memory pills" and that everyone else should be too.

Does anyone know what was in that bottle? And what is ailing our Senator? The Intelligence Committee chairmanship is not one of the plum assignments, since there's no pork involved. Nonetheless, I want to be certain that the person overseeing our nation's intelligence community isn't going senile.

All I know is what I saw on TV this morning, and I was genuinely worried.
