George WIll should stick to baseball

Will says that people were all worked up about global cooling in the '70s. My eyes narrow.

He says that at any time, the temperature is either rising or cooling. I begin banging my head on the table.

Fareed Zakaria points out that temperatures have risen over the last 200 years. Will asks what happened 200 years ago. I scream at the television while Zakaria calmly explains that that's as far back as temperature records go.

I don't think Babe Ruth is such a special ballplayer. At any given time, a player is either hitting home runs or isn't. Why should we think it's special that the Bambino hit home runs more often than other people?
