Holocaust History Project warehouse burned:
In the early hours of March 6, 2006, a fire broke out at a warehouse complex near San Antonio International Airport, causing extensive damage to the offices of The Holocaust History Project (THHP), an organization that has been, for the last ten years, in the forefront of confronting Holocaust denial online, in addition to providing educational materials to students throughout the world. Arson investigators now have confirmed that the fire was intentionally set and are continuing their investigation.
The Holocaust History Project is among the best resources of careful documentation of the lies Holocaust deniers tell and a great collection of comprehensive evidence of what happened under Nazi rule in Europe.

There's a lot of mediocre information out there, as well as lies put out by the deniers. THHP is a great resource of reliable information and thoughtful, careful analysis. Fortunately, the arson was not directed at any of the people involved in the project, but at a warehouse used by THHP and other groups sending out educational material. Printed goods are replaceable, people aren't.

Any time you wonder why it's necessary to stand up against Holocaust deniers, remember this fire. These cowards can't overcome the evidence of the horrors committed by their heroes in the Third Reich, and have resorted to criminal violence. People of good faith should stand by THHP and their important work.

Thanks to Orac for the head's up.
