Washington Days

Senator Barack Obama will be addressing guests at the Kansas Democratic Party's Washington Days on Friday. Due to overwhelming demand and limited seating, there will be a rally to watch the Senator's speech and the Senator and Governor Sebelius will come out and chill at the rally afterwards.

Will Obama discuss his new energy proposal? Is the massive ethanol component a sop to Illinois, or is he looking at the cornfields of Iowa? The only way to find out is to attend (or to read TfK).

If you're in Topeka on Friday at 8:15 pm, drop by the Ramada Inn. Tickets cost $20. There will only be a limited number of tickets available at the door, but you can reserve tickets by calling (785) 234-0425, or visit the Kansas Democratic Party's website.

And if the chance to see a rising star and one of the great orators of the day weren't enough, TfK will be covering Washington Days, too. Governor Sebelius, Senator Obama, and me. Who can resist?

Look for the guy with the press pass and too much junk slung around his neck. If you were planning on attending and want to meet the entire TfK operation, leave a comment or shoot me an email, and we can try to meet up.
