You're renting Jim Ryun's car

135 congresscritters are using taxpayer money to lease a car. Missouri's Sam Graves and Colorado's Tom Tancredo both let the American people rent two cars for them, each spending more than $14,000 per year for their cars.

And Jim Ryun has given up his running ways in favor of a Chevy Trailblazer which costs the taxpayers $7,348.20 per year. That cost is right around the median price paid by those who choose to exploit that particular perk of office. Of course, 300 congresscritters don't take that perk, putting Ryun squarely in the moral minority.
