Enforcing the law

DHS announced the hiring of 171 new workplace inspectors, and the prosecution of some low-level managers who hired undocumented workers. We also learn that:
nationally, there were just 127 criminal convictions last year — up from 46 the year before — against employers that knowingly hired illegal immigrants,
Which makes me think that there are cheaper ways to reduce the problem of undocumented immigrants than building a wall.
