Popular governor

SurveyUSA's latest Governor Approval poll is out. Sebelius is as popular as she was last month (59% approval), but she's lost ground with conservatives (net approval down to 4% from 17%) while gaining strength among moderates (net approval up to 42% from 35%). Since the conservatives wouldn't vote for her anyway, and moderates will decide the election, that's good news.

Her concealed carry veto wasn't the political suicide some people expected. It appears to have divided the Republicans and left the other parties unchanged.

In related news, Claire McCaskill is tied with Jim Talent in the Missouri Senate election. Interestingly, the number of undecideds is growing, but the two remain tied.
