Democrats: only good at honest governing

In an FBI tape Rep William Jefferson (D-LAckwit) gets in hot water:
As Jefferson and the informant passed notes about what percentage the lawmaker's family might receive, the congressman "began laughing and said, 'All these damn notes we're writing to each other as if we're talking, as if the FBI is watching,'" according to the affidavit.
The article is like a guide on how not to be corrupt. The wads of cash in the freezer. The shady dealing with Nigerian businessmen, the references to a bribe as "the package," and of course the hack lawyer saying "The affidavit itself is just one side of the story which has not been tested in court."

Yeah, I bet there's a logical explanation.
