Our excellent Attorney General

Campaigning to replace Phill Kline, Paul Morrison questions Kline's judgment and experience, but notes that the fight will be tough:
"There's great power in incumbency, even if the incumbent is a complete doofus. This is going to be a dogfight." …

"Most people who know Phill Kline don't like him very well," he said. "The more they get to know him, the less they like him."

Efforts to contact Kline or his spokesperson on Saturday were unsuccessful. …

Morrison said in his speech that Kline had used "incredibly poor judgment" in some of his decisions.

He questioned Kline's hiring of Bryan Brown as head of the state's consumer affairs protection division. Brown was arrested a dozen times for his anti-abortion activities and has refused to pay a $61,000 civil fine.

Morrison also criticized Kline's decision to hire, as a driver and personal assistant, a nephew who was on probation at the time for possession of marijuana and who once had his driver's license suspended for a year for refusing to submit to a breath test after a car wreck.
Remember the name Paul Morrison come November.
