Threats to America

Bruce Schneier, author of Applied Cryptography, responds to reports of a new system for tracking aircraft:
Under the present system, a terrorist can locate the position of an aircraft by looking up. And if a terrorist is smart enough to perform this intelligence-gathering exercise near an airport, he can locate the position of aircraft that are low to the ground, and easier to shoot at with missiles.
Clearly, the threat to American and Australian airspace is not the Automatic Dependent System Broadcast, but Bruce Schneier. What madman would reveal such sophisticated techniques for attacking aircraft.

Look up near an airport, indeed. Next he'll tell us where the best places are to attack shipping containers (it has four letters and starts with the letter "p"). WIll no one silence this man?
